CRMA (Credit Return Materials Agreement)
- A CRMA will only be authorised under the following conditions:-
- The request is authorised by the CEO.
- The request is submitted within 7 days of the date of DC sales invoice.
- The product(s) are unused (except for Evaluation returns), in original packaging, complete with full accessories and manuals and in resalable condition. Failure to return any item or component in original condition will result in a credit note not being issued and the product returned for payment.
- Products sold on a non-returns basis are excluded.
- The CRMA authorisation is valid for 7 days. If the products(s) are not received by DC within 7 days of authorisation, then the CRMA will lapse.
- Licenses and maintenance contracts are subject to Vendor approval and will only be authorised for credit upon this approval being granted by the vendor prior to raising a credit note.
Restocking Fee
All authorised CRMA’s will incur a Restocking Fee of 15%, unless the reason for CRMA is a result of DC error.
Credit Notes
The amount credited will be the original sales price as invoiced, less the applicable Restocking Fee.
TRMA (Technical Return Materials Agreement)
A TRMA will be authorised under the following conditions:-
- The request is authorised by National Technical Manager or an RMA number has been provided by the Vendor.
- The product(s) falls onto the following categories:
- DOA (Dead on Arrival)
- Under Warranty
- Non-Warranty repair by Manufacturer
DOA Process
- Products found to be defective out of the box or “dead” on arrival, may be returned for replacement within the manufacturer’s specified DOA period provided packaging is intact.
- DC will attempt to replace an authorised DOA from stock, or if unavailable, will attempt to expedite a replacement from the Manufacturer.
- Product(s) returned as DOA and found not to be faulty will incur a $100 handling fee.
- Warranty
- DC will review the TRMA request and evaluate with regard to the Manufacturer’s warranty terms
- If DC is to process the warranty, a replacement or repair will be coordinated with the Manufacturer.
- In the event that the warranty claim is no longer handled by DC, then an alternative contact will be provided.
